Is it disrespectful to post pictures of Plainfield’s Halloween parade? We didn’t even get touched by Sandy but BELIEVE ME, we went through our own Sandy last summer and there wasn’t a peep about it in the national news. AND IT WASN’T IRENE. It was 3 months before Irene. The beast-storm without a name.
Anyhooooooooo….
We have a very small village. Half a block of businesses and about 4 blocks of residential. But we have a KICK ASS Halloween parade. The band was especially awesome and we want to thank them hugely. Check it out (alas, we had to use flash):
Moving down the street:
And that’s Paperhead…
Spectators:
Startled kid with skull:
And a terrifying individual who remains unknown and unnamed:
Somehow Bread & Puppet was involved as we spotted their van in town:
We will discuss Bread & Puppet at a later date.

Looks like the Rapture.
Looks like what’s left AFTER the rapture…
